Interviews: Path Of The Fallen

In this new occasion we have the awesome opportunity to interview the Deathcore band Path Of The Fallen from Finland, here we will let you their FACEBOOK PAGE to give them a like and follow them.We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Our first name was "Hategod" but it turned out as "Dogehat". We had a lot of ideas of which none sounded good but Sami came up with "Path of the fallen". Everyone agreed on that.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?    

We never really thought of our "genre", we just wanted to play something aggressive and atmospheric. Our upcoming album will have a much darker and atmospheric feel so stay tuned.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Yes we did.

4. Each band member's favourite band?  

Rami: Whitechapel

Sami: Born of Osiris or Medeia

Juho: Gojira or Slipknot

Matias: Betraying the Martyrs or After the Burial

Jooa: Strapping Young Lad or Betraying the Martyrs

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?    

A very vague mix of coffee and our singer's twisted mind.

6. Where was your last gig?

Ahjola Open Air 2015, we haven't really had gigs since Sami went to serve his duty in the Finnish army. After he's done with that we'll probably do more gigs. Looking forward to that!

7. Where would you like to act?    

We'd really love to hit the Finnish deathcore scene. High hopes.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?    

We would like to probably feature with Medeia and Status Abnormis. Maybe someday with more popular bands.

9. Whom not?

Nothing to answer here.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?    

Our bassist, Rami has somekind of stage fright but we have this two beer tactic.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

Probably Meshuggah or Betraying the martyrs. Sometimes extreme amounts of coffee.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Huh? Fans? Probably signed copies or tabs to our songs etc.

13. What do you think of your fans?    

Fans would be great if we had them. Just kidding hahaha they are awesome.

14. What do you think of our site?    

It´s a very good site.

15. Something to add?    

New album coming out later in 2016! As soon as Sami comes home from the army (in June) we will begin the recordings. Darker, more aggressive, more atmospheric songs are on the way, already written. Stay tuned!
