Interviews: Vicious

In this new occasion we have the awesome opportunity to interview the Metal/Hardcore band Vicious from USA, here we will let you their FACEBOOK PAGE to give them a like and follow them.We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The band name was come up by our guitar player Rigo that wanted a simple yet cool sounding name.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

We enjoy performing heavy music and to mix it with inspiration from horror movies is just awesome.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Yes, actually 4/5 members went to school together and all have been in previous bands

4. Each band member favourite band?

Idk if we have necessarily favorite bands but favorite genres Steven (Vocals) pop punk, Sean (keys,vocals) hardcore death metal, Rigo (guitar) rap, Ruben (guitar) Reggae, Gus (drums) death metal!

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Horror movies, we like to take inspiration from sounds and the feelings of the music.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig was actually a local cool spot that mixes alcohol with video games (who doesn't love that right?) lol

7. Where would you like to act?

We would love to play for whomever is down to listen.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We would love to collaborate with bands with the same style of us from the Bay to LA

9. Whom not?

Any promoters that take advantage of unsigned musicians.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright?Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Actually no most of us in Vicious have been doing music for over 5 years and watching us live were crazy so no stage fright their lol. Just play your music and eventually the stage fright will go away if you know your music you will be fine.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

Bands that pave their own way in any type of genre, I love hearing new music and not the same type or trending music a million times.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Idk if we have had a fan ask us for anything, but one time we had a "promoter" like a band member Cara sonriente con ojos en forma de corazón so much and gave of us everything the show made that night! Lol

13. What do you think of your fans?  

We love the people that follow our project because that shows they are people to open their ears not only to a new up & coming band but a new sound.

14. What do you think of our site?  

Breathing The Core is amazing and we can't thank them enough for helping any band trying to be heard!
