Interviews: Lock & Key

Hey fans, in this occasion we had the opportunity to interviewthe Metalcore/Hardcore band Lock & Key from United Kingdom. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview and also like their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that? 

Our band name comes from a song from a punk rock band called MXPX. Was just something that was an idea and kinda stuck!

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

The style of music we play has a shit load of energy and passion, the way that music should be played.  3) Most of us didn't actually know each other, we are from different parts of the UK and travel hundreds of miles to practice together at weekends.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

We all came from previous bands and stuff so we have had experience gigging and stuff! 4) We all like different stuff, ranges from like hardcore and metal to tech and death metal!

4. Each band member favourite band? 

We all like different stuff, ranges from like hardcore and metal to tech and death metal!

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

There are lots of influences, Terror, Stick To Your Guns etc.

6. Where was your last gig? 

Our first show is in 2 weeks time with Demoraliser and Dead Harts in Manchester!

7. Where would you like to act? 

Anywhere and everywhere, we just wanna play these songs to as many people as possible!

8. Whom would you like to feature with? 

We would happily play with anyone but for me a huge thing would be to support Stick To Your Guns who are my favorite band!

9. Whom not? 

I don't think there are any bands we wouldn't want to play with, sometimes different genres mixes shows up in a good way!

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? 

I used to get super worried before shows, it all comes with time as you build confidence as a musician and it just becomes natural to get on stage and play music!

11. Any tip for beginners on how to beat that? 

I'd say the bands that have inspired us most would be First Blood, Terror, Stick To Your Guns when it comes to writing.

As of yet we can't answer that haha!

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

As of yet we can't answer that haha!

They are the best!
