Interviews: Story Time

In this new occasion we have the awesome opportunity to interview the Easycore/Pop-Punk band Story Time from Czech Republic, here we will let you their FACEBOOK PAGE to give them a like and follow them.We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!
1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
It’s a long Story and it will be told when it’s Time.
2. Why did you want to play this genre?
It is genre that we all love. Each one of us listen pop punk and hardcore bands and the connection of these two genres is the way on which we want to go. This genre is still not really famous compared to other popular genres nowadays, but it deserves much more!
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
Yes, we did. We aren’t professional players who just formed a band without knowing each other. We hanged out with ourselves much earlier than our band has been established.
4. Each band member favourite band?
For most of us, it is Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! It’s also the band which inspires us the most. Others bands we love you can find in first seconds of our music video for our last song „We Can Never See Each Other Down“ where is shown a bit of our drummers Matthew’s collect of vinyls, for example A Day To Remember, Blink 182, Bring Me The Horizon, Asking Alexandria etc.
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
We want to get this genre much more widely known, that’s one of the main reasons why we write our songs.
6. Where was your last gig?
We are still in beginnings, so our list of past shows isn’t too long. Our guitarist Martin came to us just a while ago and this year we finally get the right shape of Story Time. So we are planning much more gigs  for this year.  The last one was in our hometown, about 200 people came, but we were just supporting, so we acted early and not many people came on time.
7. Where would you like to act?
Anywhere, where would be fans who could enjoy our show and our music!
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
There are plenty of bands with whom we’d like to act. A Day To Remeber, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!, The Story So Far, The Amity Affliction,… It would be awesome to perform with these bands. But every band which supports this scene with their music is the one we’d like to feature with.
9. Whom not?
It’s hard to say. We think that gigs must have sense and you can’t put bands with completely different genre in one evening. It happened us a few times and that’s the gigs where we don’t really want to act. Can’t just name a band with whom we wouldn’t like to act, but bands which would be featuring for people who like completely diffent kind of music.
10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?
When we had out first gig, most of us had also experiences with live performing, only for our frontman Johnny it was a premiere. He was a lot nervous, so he got few shots and it calmed him down. So just few drinks may help, but carefully :D
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
As we said, Chunk! No Captain Chunk!, A Day To Remember and others we mentioned. Can’t say just one band, each band inspires us in different way.
12. What’s the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
We think that we’re still waiting for the weirdest things.
13. What do you think of your fans?
We’re still in our beginnings so our fan base isn’t that big. We appreciate every fan we have and we’ll see in a future, how it’ll look.
14. What do you think of our site?
We love sites which support this scene and it‘s also a great thing to support young bands in begginings, so thanks guys, you are the best!
15. Something to add?
Listen to hardcore/poppunk bands, support live performs, do some circle pits, eat pizza and DEFEND POP PUNK!
