News: Colt 45, Youth Man and Faintest Idea Added To Rebellion Festival Introducing Stage
Wall of Sound PR artists COLT 45, Faintest Idea and Youth Man have all been announced for the brand new 'Rebellion Introducing' stage at seminal Blackpool punk festival Rebellion Festivals, which takes place on 4th - 7th August 2016 at The Winter Gardens. They join several other acts from our roster - Jaya The Cat, Roughneck Riot and Revenge of The Psychotronic Man - who all play elsewhere on the bill.
The full line up (see below) includes appearances from Descendents, Flag, The Dickies, The Dwarves, Bouncing Souls, T.S.O.L and many more legendary names from the international punk circuit across several stages.
The Rebellion Introducing stage is specifically designed to champion new talent and will be running on all 4 days this year. In its own room - The Derham Suite - which housed the literary fest last year, it will be showcasing the latest in new talent from the punk and alternative world.
Commenting on the stage the festival organisers said: "We believe it’s important to bring new bands through and look to the future to keep the scene healthy. Bands that have played the last few years have gone on to get regular slots on the festival and establish themselves on the live circuit and release some great material. Bands start at noon on Thursday 4th August - PLEASE SUPPORT THIS STAGE!"
