Interviews: Boca Braba

In this new occassion we have had the pleasure to interview the Hardcore band Boca Braba, from Brazil. Check out this band because they are amazing and do not forget to follow them in their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

Here in brazil, we call "Boca Braba" the bravest one. The one that fears nothing. I believe we all want to say things common bands and people wouldnt. Touch where it hurts.  

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

Hardcore was made to give voice to the people, to the streets. Hardcore is all we tought didn`t exist. Polictics, religion and things we want to talk in our songs, and thats all about hardcore.  

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

Some of us were classmates. Some others friends of friends. We keep all close, even our families that usualy go to our shows.  

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Mateus: Metallica 

Douglas: Madball

Higor: Deftones 

Vinicius: Rage Against the Machine 

João: Alien Ant Farm  

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Our rage basically. We write about what hurts people in general.  

6. Where was your last gig? 

Our last gig was @ a skate competition, with big names of brazillian skateboards. One of them wants us to play in São Paulo now.  

7. Where would you like to act?  

Anywhere people could hear what we have to tell'em.  

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

Zack de la Rocha (RATM) and João Gordo (RDP).  

9. Whom not? 

Any fucking nazi shit or facist scumbags.  

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

We allways incorporate a rock legend on the stage. We all go nuts and dont fright.  

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

Raimundos, Biohazard, Suicidal Tendencies, Madball, and stuff like that.  

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

A nazi guy who bought our shirt. Shure he doesnt heard the lyrics.  

13. What do you think of your fans?  

Our Fanbase is formed by our friends who thinks the same way we do.   

14. What do you think of our site?  

We need information! People like you make music happens!
