Interviews: The Time I Leave

In this new occassion we have had the pleasure to interview the Post-Hardcore/Metalcore/Electrocore band The Time I Leave, from Italy. Check out this band because they are amazing and do not forget to follow them in their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that? 

Our first name was Lost Insanity, we changed it into The Time I Leave after the new members (Singer and Bass player) joined the band.  

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

Because it's what we've always listened to, it's the soundtrack of our best memories!

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

We used to see each other at local shows before being in a band, 'cause almost everyone of us was in a different band before The Time I Leave was actually a thing.

4. Each band member favourite band? 

Claudio: Architects, for sure.  

Pierpaolo: Asking Alexandria  

Vito: Veil Of Maya Marco: Suicide Silence 

Enrico: As I Lay Dying  

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

Claudio: What inspires me the most is what happens in my own life, the troubles me and my friends went through.  

Pierpaolo: I write songs when i feel particularly in the mood of doing so, or after something important happens in my life. 

6. Where was your last gig? 

Our last gig was on St. Patrick's day, this year, needless to say, it was just like a great party because of all the crazy things that happened  

7. Where would you like to act? 

We would love to play in United States, England and Germany, maybe we'll be lucky enough to share the stage with some big bands at warped tour or sonisphere ahahah  

8. Whom would you like to feature with? 

Claudio: I'd love to feature with Enter Shikari, it would be awesome 'cause it's a band i've always listened to since i was in high school  

9. Whom not? 

Claudio: I'd say Falling In Reverse or Attila, just picked two bands i don't really like to be honest  

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that? 

None of us has suffered from stage fright, most of us grew up going to shows every now and then, we can't wait to hit the stage!  The only advice i'd give for beginners is: just have fun, your band is your second family and even if something goes wrong they will be there with you, helping you out and getting better with you after every show you play together!  

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

For our debut EP we've been influenced by The Devil Wears Prada, The Browning, Asking Alexandria, Upon This Dawning and Attack! Attack! 

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for? 

Let's just keep it a secret ahahah  

13. What do you think of your fans? 

We love our fans, we love to see how much they appreciate our work and we love to see them killing it in the moshpit, we like to think we can inspire them as much as bigger band inspired us when we were younger.  

14. What do you think of our site? 

It's awesome 'cause it keeps us updated with every news in the -core world and it's useful to discover new bands.
