Interviews: The Bad Flowers

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the Rock band The Bad Flowers, from UK. Check out this band because they are amazing and do not forget to follow them in their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band  name, you planned it or came out just like that? 

It just came out, Tom had the idea in his head from a lyric in a song he wrote for a previous band.    

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

This is the type of music we were brought up on, it's the kind of music we all love so it was a no brainer really!   

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Tom and Dale have know each other for years and played in a couple of different bands together before this one, the chemistry has always been there on stage and in the style we play, Karl joined after we posted an advert for a drummer and he's been the perfect fit, it's like we've been playing together all our lives.  

4. Each band member favourite band? 

Tom's is Led Zeppelin, Karl's is Foo Fighters and Dale's is Black Sabbath!    

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?  

Just live experiences, sometimes news story's maybe films? Just anything that grabs the imagination.   

6. Where was your last gig?  

Our last show was in Nottingham, great venue called The Doghouse, would highly recommend!   

7. Where would you like to act?  

We've done some cool shows since we've been together but I think we'd all love to go back into Europe and do some more gigs! The show's we did in Austria and France we're awesome, and we love to travel!  

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

Well there's so many bands we'd love to play with! I gotta say Rival Sons are killing it at the minute so it would be amazing to open for them! It would be cool if we got to play with the sheepdogs again to, we got to open for them in Birmingham, really cool guys.  

9. Whom not?  

I'm not sure there's anyone we wouldn't want to play with? Maybe if we were on a bill that was way outta our genre?   

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

I don't think we have? We just love what we do! Any tips? I'd say just be confident in your abilities and don't worry what anyone else thinks, just go out and enjoy it! That's what it's all about.   

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

We're all huge fans of Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath but there's a lot of contemporary bands we're into as well like Rival Sons, Tyler Bryant & the Shakedown, Tracer, Wolfmother to name a few     

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

We got asked to play at one of their young kids birthday party once, that was a strange request! We were already booked that night though...   

13. What do you think of your fans?  

They're awesome, always showing us so much support! We couldn't ask for more.  

14. What do you think of our site?
