Interviews: Vilamoura

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the Metalcore band Vilamoura, from USA. Check out this band because they are amazing and do not forget to follow them in their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

It was actually a street we lived by that connected all of our houses    

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

I love music of all types, but I grew up listening to rock music the most   

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Yes I did! I knew Josh Valdez and Jonathan Lester from high school band and I didn't know Josh Huber yet but he also went to our high school    

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Josh Huber: A Night In Texas   

Mikah Shipman: Avenged Sevenfold 

Josh Valdez: Volumes  

Jonathon Lester:  Volumes 

Sotomayor: Alesana  

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

Many local and signed artist inspire my music, some in particular were  As I Lay Dying and Slipknot     

6. Where was your last gig?  

Thursday, May 12th at the Dirty Dog Bar in Austin, TX  We played with Concepts, Backwordz, Minds & Machines, Modern Day Kings, and Fear Me King Me    

7. Where would you like to act?  

I would love to tour around the USA first but my dream is to tour Europe. I've never been out of the country yet.  

8. Whom would you like to feature with?   

I would love to have Dennis Stoff of Asking Alexandria come feature on one of our songs He's an amazing singer!   

9. Whom not?  

I'm not sure, but if you send me your music I'll always give it a listen   

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

I personally never had stage fright but I have been nervous before about messing up while on stage  My best advice is to treat it like a practice  because if you Rehearse how you perform      

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

Avenged Sevenfold, As I Lay Dying, Asking Alexandria, and The Plot In You    

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

A picture of my feet lol    

13. What do you think of your fans?  

I love the fans! Without them we wouldn't be where we are today  Come take pictures with me! :D    

14. What do you think of our site?   

I like it! I watched the new Issues video on your site
