News: Architects Debut at #2 On ARIA Chart‏

UNFD are extremely proud to announce that UK metalcore act Architects' highly anticipated new album, All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us, has debuted at #2 on the ARIA Chart - the highest ever chart position of their career in not only Australia, but the rest of the world. This is also a significant milestone for UNFD with the label landing their highest ever ARIA Chart debut for one of its international artists on the roster.

All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us is the second Top 10 ARIA result of 2016 for the burgeoning label after Canberra's Hands Like Houses reached #7 in March with their brilliant new album, Dissonants.

UNFD's Maya Janeska says Architects' achievement is proof heavy music is alive and well in Australia: "This is definitely one of the heavier albums we’re releasing this year and it’s a testament to the amazing heavy music community we have in Australia that an album as heavy as All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us can debut so high. We would like to extend a huge congratulations to Architects, we are thrilled to be part of this release and can't wait to see them perform these songs when they return to our shores in September."

Architect's seventh album All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us is a powerfully dark and sonically intense critique on the world. The worldwide anger and disillusion encapsulated on this record wrestles with contemplations of death, god and faith in search of some semblance of hope for a world increasingly consumed by fear, anger and confusion. This album is Architects' statement of intent to the world: it is time to stand up, take notice and be counted.

Architects will return to Australia this September to perform in arenas with Bring Me The Horizon
and '68.
