News: CAPSIZE PREMIERES "TEAR ME APART" FT. BRENDAN MURPHY OF COUNTERPARTS‏

Alternative Press is premiering "Tear Me Apart" - the new song and music video from Capsize's sophomore full-length, A Reintroduction: The Essence of All That Surrounds Me. The album will be released on July 22 via Equal Vision Records. "Tear Me Apart" also features Brendan Murphy from Counterparts. The video can be seen now at AltPress.com.

"This one goes out to anyone that has ever felt doubted or discouraged by their family or friends, while trying to pursue something that means everything to them," shares vocalist Daniel Wand.

The Southern California-based post-hardcore outfit also recently debuted a music video for "XX (Sew My Eyes)", which can be seen now atcapsizemerch.com, where album pre-orders are now available. All pre-orders include an instant MP3 download of "XX (Sew My Eyes)", "I Think It's Best We Don't Talk Anymore" and "Tear Me Apart".

A Reintroduction: The Essence of All That Surrounds Me features a more prominent post-hardcore sound than on the band's debut, The Angst In My Veins, with the incorporation of clean singing throughout. The new album, which was recorded in Atlanta, GA at Glow In The Dark Studios with producer Matt McClellan (The Devil Wears Prada, Being As An Ocean), showcases the band's undeniable energy and intensity - and signature darkness. Lyrically exploring personal demons and vulnerability, as well as love and loss, and musically exhibiting an impressive blend that ranges from driving, in-your-face chaos to unexpectedly ambient, dreamlike soundscapes - A Reintroduction: The Essence of All That Surrounds Me pushes the band into new musical territory, while remaining true to their roots.

Capsize is comprised of Daniel Wand (vocals), Andrew Tamayo (drums), Ryan Knowles (guitar), and Nicolas Lopez (guitar). The band will also make a special appearance at the 2016 Alternative Press Music Awards in Columbus, OH next month.
