News: COLDFRONT TO RELEASE NEW EP JULY 8 VIA EQUAL VISION RECORDS; PREMIERES "MOLLY BLOOMS" MUSIC VIDEO VIA ALTPRESS‏

Canadian pop-punk outfit Coldfront will release a new EP Is This Where They Found You? via Equal Vision Records on July 8. Today, they are also premiering a new music video for "Molly Blooms", which can be viewed now at AltPress.com.
"The actual recording process for the EP went very smoothly. We’ve all been recording with Sam [Guaiana] for 5+ years now, in other bands and withColdfront, so everyone has a good handle on how we work together. The scheduling process was a bit crazy though. We started demoing songs for this EP in the Fall of 2014 and it wasn’t fully completed until Fall 2015. Now here we are in 2016 finally putting it out," shares drummer Michael Kelly. "When we began this process we weren’t the same band we are now. Half of us were still full time students and the others were starting new careers, so we were pretty busy outside of the band. The release of this EP will mark a new beginning for us where we start taking things a little more seriously."
Is This Where They Found You? is available for pre-order physically HEREand through digital retailers such as iTunesGooglePlay and AmazonMP3.
"'Molly Blooms' is about climbing out of a rut. It's a love song about turning it all around and finding what truly makes you happy," reveals vocalist Thomas Stewart. "When we went into the studio we had done a bunch of pre-production work prior to arriving, but "Molly Blooms" wasn’t a part of any of that. We actually dropped a couple other songs we had been working on so we could record this song instead, despite having only written it about a week before we started tracking."
To date, the band has released two EPs – Some Things Never Change(2014) and their self-titled debut (2013). Coldfront is comprised of Thomas Stewart (vocals), Christopher Casarin (guitar, vocals), Jared Cipak (guitar), Michael Kelly (drums) and Erikson Melton (bass).
Coldfront played their first show ever at the Toronto date of 2013 Vans Warped Tour in 2013 and have since gone on to share stages with the likes of Knuckle Puck, Such Gold, and Like Pacific and perform at festivals such as KOI Fest alongside Silverstein, Every Time I Die, Counterparts and more.
This Summer, they will head out on a North American run with Seaway and Rarity. All upcoming tour dates can be found below.
