News: Foot-Stompin Indie Band Not A Planet Release New Single

The foot-stompin' indie rock band Not A Planet has released a lyric video for "Tell the Truth," the first single from their upcoming EP Smoke Bombs and Cigarettes. The Kansas City quartet will release the new record on August 12th and it will be their second full-length effort, following up 2015's The Few, The Proud, The Strange LP.

"There is a place deep inside each person where we go to discover someone unstoppable, superhuman," says vocalist/guitarist Nathan Corsi. "'Tell the Truth' is about going to that place."

The East Coast indie sound of "Tell the Truth" incorporates a 60's pop flare with a slick hook and crunching guitars. Smoke Bombs and Cigarettes was produced by Jacob Bunton and engineered by Jason Elgin. Mastering was handled by Brian Lucey (Black Keys, Muse, Dr Dog).

"Tell the Truth" will be offered as a free download on August 12th to fans who sign-up now for the band's mailing list. Pre-orders will be available soon for Smoke Bombs and Cigarettes.
