Interviews: Felon

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the Metalcore band Felon, from Italy. Check out this band and give them a like on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

It came out from a cartoon called “The Boondocks” and we really liked the multiple meanings of this simple word.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Because it makes us feel good and comfortable in our skin and we like the idea of sounding raw and soft at the same time.

3.Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes, we were good friends before everything else.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Singer: Deftones

Drummer: Gojira

Bass player: Radiohead

Guitar player: Avenged Sevenfold

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

It's always about a personal experience, usually it's about pain, paranoia, madness and struggle.

We're not that miserable, but we find joy in overcoming a bad situation and our songs are the perfect witnesses of the most crucial moments of our lives.

6. Where was your last gig?

In our city (Pisa) during the “Luminara”, as we call the Patron Saint's Day, where all the streets are lightened with candles and filled with people and events of any kind.

7.Where would you like to act? 

Our dream is to play a show in Los Angeles, because we heard about the beautiful scene and acts of that city.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We would like to make a song produced by Trent Reznor.

9. Whom not?

Any glam metal band, but most of all this folk bearded scene that seems to be the latest fashion nowadays. In our humble opinion it sounds really fake.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Yes of course, but we've always been quite lucky with that because we found comfort on stage really soon. If we had to give an advice it would be trying to fight stage fright by performing constantly and accepting every critique so you can better understand yourself as a performer.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Deftones, Muse, Radiohead and Gojira.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

A BIG fan of ours asked for the lyrics of Beg You To Go before being released and 2 hours later he showed up with a piano and vocals cover of it.

13. What do you think of your fans?

We love our fans, they're like brothers/sisters to us and they sincerely support us.

14. What do you think of our site?
