Interviews: Remnants Of Hope

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the Industrial Rock band Remnants Of Hope, from USA. Check out this band and give them a like on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that? 

We wanted to have an apocalyptic themed name. "Remnants of Hope" fit the agenda.

2.Why did you want to play this genre? 

Nykii: I love the energy!

Zander: I have a great likeness for both singing and screaming, this genre is my passion.

Paul: It's my favorite style of music to listen to. 

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

Yes we did! We're brothers, so we've known each other since we were born.

4. Each band members favourite band? 

Zander:  Amon Amarth. Metal all the way.

Paul: Children of Bodom.  Alexi Laiho is my idol!

Nykii: Black Veil Brides.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

Zander: I draw my influences from Devildriver and Falling In Reverse.

Nykii: Our lyrics are inspired by things we've been through and the music is heavily influenced by Melodic-Death-Metal.

6. Where was your last gig? 

Opening for the "Method To The Madness" tour with "Famous Last Words" at Swayzes Venue! It was a blast.

7. Where would you like to play? 

We'd love to play in any venue in California.

Zander: Falling in Reverse

9. Whom not? 

Zander: Kanye West

Paul: Kanye West

Nykii: Kanye West 

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that? 

Zander: Everything moves so fast at shows I never have a chance to consider being scared. Tip for vocalists: Don't close your eyes, don't stare at any one person in  the audience. Look just above the crowd. 

Nykii: I'm always so busy at shows that I never have a chance to consider stage fright, just excitement and adrenaline for the performance coming up. Tip: Don't think about what you're doing, just go and don't stop.

Paul: I don't get stage fright. Tip: Have confidence in yourself. You can't get stage fright with confidence. 

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

Zander: Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin

Paul: Avenged Sevenfold.

Nykii: Bullet for my Valentine 

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for? 

Zander: Not sure if it's weird, but  girl fans ask to touch my hair when I grow it out. I like it.

Nykii: Asked for me to go to prom with them. Brought a sign-up sheet and everything. Takes the cake for sure.

13. What do you think of your fans? 

We think they're awesome.  The support we get on the web is amazing!
