News: Alteras Share Full-Length Album Early (Revival Recordings)
Ohio-based metal quintet Alteras will release their new album Grief on August 5th, but you can hear an advance stream now via New Noise Magazine. The full-length will mark the band's label debut with Revival Recordings (owned by Shawn Milke of Alesana) and harnesses the band's technically proficient sound, throat-ripping screams, and melodic pop-sensibility.
Vocalist Jake Clasen also sat down for an exclusive interview with New Noise Magazine. "We really just wanted to put together the best album we could and just be true with ourselves," Clasen told New Noise. "It came together on its own from us just writing how we were feeling and being real with one another." Read the full interview here.
Grief was recorded and produced by Nick Ingram (For Today, Dayseeker, Jay Z) at Capital House Studios in Columbus, Ohio. Pre-orders are available via MerchNow.
