News: Dance Gavin Dance Single Features Zac Garren

Prior to becoming a Strawberry Girl, Zac Garren was the guitarist of the post-hardcore group Dance Gavin Dance.

In 2015, Dance Gavin Dance announced a ten year anniversary tour with opening bands A Lot Like Birds (Kurt Travis), Slaves (Jonny Craig), Dayshell and Strawberry Girls (Garren) three of which include former DGD members. 

Dance Gavin Dance recently announced the release of their new album, "Mothership" (out Oct. 7) and Garren reunited with them for multiple songs on the record. Garren expresses his excitement, "Really stoked I got to work with the Dance Gavin Dance guys again. This new track, "Chucky vs. The Giant Tortoise" is one of three songs I got to do some guitar on their upcoming album.  I can't wait for people to hear the rest!"

After parting ways with DGD in 2010, Garren teamed up with drummer Ben Rosett and bassist Ian Jennings to form Strawberry Girls. They've released several albums, the most recent being "American Graffiti", if you haven't heard it, it's well worth the listen. You can hear the whole album HERE.
