News: Junior/Fierce Morgan release an Split EP!
Junior and Fierce Morgan announce split EP Welsh pop-punk trio Junior have teamed up with Sheffield skate-punks Fierce Morgan to release a 4 track EP.
“Pop-punk holds the stereotype of hanging out with your friends, so it seems fitting that we put a record out with some of our good friends!” Says Junior vocalist/guitarist Matt Attard. “We met the guys in Fierce Morgan when they let us crash at theirs on one of our tours, and just hit it off from there. We knew that we’d want to release something together, so we’re stoked that we’ve got this EP and the chance to tour together. They’re a great band, so we just hope they don’t make us look bad next to them..!
The Split EP is the follow-up to Junior’s critically acclaimed “Juniorland” last year, and is hot on the heels of Fierce Morgan’s blistering EP ‘Misanthropy’ from earlier in 2016. Brief yet powerful, the EP effortlessly showcases the songwriting muscle of both bands, penning some of their catchiest and most urgent tracks to date.
“It’s cool because there’s a difference between our sound and Junior’s” enthuses Fierce Morgan bassist/vocalist Owen Cousins. “The EP has a nice distinction between both bands, which makes for a well rounded overall listening experience - we tear your face off, and Junior kiss it better.”
The Split EP is released in September in both digital and physical formats.
