News: Prog Metal TACTUS Premiere New Track 'Scimitar' via New Noise Mag; New Album Out Oct 7th

Fredericton, New Brunswick five piece progressive metal band TACTUS have teamed up with New Noise Magazine for the premiere of their first single 'Scimitar' off their upcoming debut full length 'Bending Light' due out on October 7th. The album features ten outer limit prog tracks produced by the band with mixing and mastering by Jamie King (Between The Buried In Me, Paradise Lost, Scale The Summit) to follow their previously released EPs 'ins(T)rumental' (2015) and 'T' (2014) plus singles 'Enigma' and their metal cover of The Police's 'Roxanne'.

The band comments on the track:

"We chose 'Scimitar' to be the first ambassador for 'Bending Light' because even though it's shorter and more accessible, it still showcases some of the weird progressiveness of the album. It's consistently fast and upbeat plus as one of our favourites to play, we thought it was a great way to introduce everyone to the new Tactus."
