News: OWEL PREMIERES NEW SONG AND VIDEO FOR "PALE SOFT LIGHT" VIA A.V. CLUB

Today, OWEL has partnered with A.V. Club for the exclusive song and video premiere for "Pale Soft Light". The unique video was illustrated and animated by vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Jay Sakong and can be seenHERE. "Pale Soft Light" comes from the band's sophomore full-length, dear me, which will be out on November 11 via Equal Vision Records.

The new album was co-produced by Sakong and Gates’ vocalist Kevin Dye and is available for pre-order now at owelband.merchnow.com. All physical pre-orders come with an instant MP3 download of "Pale Soft Light", as well as the band's previously released single "Paper Hands". dear me will be available for pre-order on digital retailers such as iTunes, AmazonMP3, and Google Play on October 6.

The New Jersey-based indie outfit recently announced a new tour supporting the Soil & the Sun that will kick off on November 10 in Philadelphia, PA. The month long tour will also include a special headline / album release show for OWEL on November 11 in New York City. Everyone who purchases a ticket to the album release show will also receive a free copy of the CD at the venue. All upcoming tour dates can be found below.

"Paper Hands" - the first song to be released from the album - is available now via soundcloud.com/equalvision and all digital retailers. dear me is the follow-up to Every Good Boy (EP, 2015) and the band's debut, self-titled full-length (2013). Featuring delicate, dreamy vocals with lush five-part harmonies, elegant string arrangements and a tasteful touch of electronic elements throughout, the band has created a truly stunning sound that is all their own and simultaneously feels classic and modern.
