Interviews: Krooks & Kings

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the Post-Hardcore  band Krooks & Kings, from USA. Check out this band and give them a like on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The idea of it is, no matter how well known you are or even if you're not,  everyones done something their slightly ashamed of at one point or another. It just means whether you view yourself as a crook or a king, we're all the same.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

The energy of it. Nothing beats the energy of playing this style of music. It has the perfect blend of heavy and catchy.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Wyatt and I have known and have made a couple different attempts at forming a band since about 2009. We just have finally gotten down to business with Krooks.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Wyatt: Panic! at the Disco

Connor: Volumes

Kyle: Between Green Day and Volumes

Mark: For the Fallen Dreams and LMTF

5. Where was your last gig?

-Wyatt: At the Highdive in Gainesville
-Connor: At the "ocala entertainment complex"
- Kyle : My last show was at omallys
-Mark: The 1982 in Gainesville

6. Where would you like to act?

One of my dreams would be to get on Warped Tour and travel to all the different cities and states

7. Whom would you like to feature with?

For the Fallen Dreams or Like Moths to Flames would be an awesome band to tour with

8. Whom not?

I wouldn't be against featuring with anyone really as long as I feel it fit what we're going for

9. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Connor: I never had stage fright and I think the reason is, is because when on stage you feel like a different person. Just focus on the energy of the music and you should be okay. Just remember your doing what you love.

Mark:  Definitely have had a bit of stage fright myself. I feel I always will get a small case of it especially as we progress and get bigger and bigger shows. I'm not sure how to help it I see it as going on a roller coaster. Your anxious as you climb up but once you get going you're having a blast. Maybe a shot or two before the show! Haha.

10. What bands have inspired you the most?

For this band there have been so many already. The main ones would be For the Fallen Dreams, Like Moths to Flames, and Wage War though.

11. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

"Do you want some Cocain?"
12. What do you think of your fans?

Anyone who would take the time to appreciate music is a friend of mine.
13. What do you think of our site?

I think your guys site is awesome and I love what you're doing for up and coming bands like us.

14. Something to add?

Were just honored to have you guys take time to interview us! We also look forward towards 2017, lots of big plans ahead of us!
