News: Patrick Craig announces Xmas single and tour dates with Sean Macgowan
The singer-songwriter has recorded covers of two traditional Christmas songs and will be releasing them in support of two important London-based charities on Friday 16th December, the Glass Door Homeless Shelter & Wandsworth Food Bank.
The two-track single recorded by No Distance Productions & Mixed by Bob Cooper (Nai Harvest / Self Defence Family) will be released mid-way through Patrick's 4 day UK tour with Southampton's Sean McGowan.
Commenting on the release Patrick said:
"With some spare studio time as I was working on some demos, I ended up recording two of my favourite carols. Christmas music seems to be turning into its own genre these days and that was something a wanted to shy away from, instead celebrating how well written some Christmas carols are.
Half the proceeds are going to be going to be split between Wandsworth foodbank. It operates out of st Michaels church in Southfields and Glass Door, a homeless shelter that operates across various churches to provide a warm meal and a safe place to sleep each night. "
The single which features Patrick's folk-punk take on "Hark The Herald" and "Silent Night" is set for release via Under The Bridge Records on 16th December and will be available as a pay-what-you-like download.
