News: HALF SIGHT RELEASE NEW MUSIC VIDEO AND TALK ABOUT TOURING

Touring is getting more and more difficult and not to mention more expensive for smaller bands and artists trying to cut through the crowd. Half Sight have documented their recent tour of Europe to give fans a bit of an insight, and put it together with their latest single 'The Brightest Son'.

The track is taken from their debut album 'Rhetoric' which was self-released earlier this year via Spoken Records UK. You can check it out on Apple Music / Spotify, and download it from all major retailers.

Here's what they had to say about the release:

"The Brightest Son is probably one of our favourite tracks from our debut album.  It’s a great one to play live with plenty of energy, which is why we picked it for a tour video."

"We put this video together from footage that we shot on our tour of mainland Europe at the end of October.  This was our third time playing in Germany and first time in both Czech Republic and Hungary, so we had to make this one count and overall it’s an experience that we won’t forget."

"There’s a very different vibe playing on the continent, as well as playing in squats and all other kinds of unusual venues the level of hospitality that we receive every where we go always blows us away.  Everyone is so welcoming and prepared to bend over backwards to make you feel at home, which is really refreshing.

When it comes to touring we try to do things ourselves as much as possible, from booking the dates to driving the van and even down to putting this video together - in the long run I think it makes the whole experience a lot more rewarding.  We’ve made some great friends on tour – you meet so many people at each gig but when you get to play a few dates with the same band that’s when real friendships can be formed.  We also met some strange characters on this tour, who were mainly middle aged drunk English blokes who couldn’t wait to share their wisdom about the countries or cities that we were in..."
