News: While She Sleeps Announce Supports For Australian Headline Shows
UK’s While She Sleeps have announced the supports for their Australian mini headline run. Joining the boys from Sheffield in Sydney and Brisbane will be Belle Haven and Justice For The Damned.
While She Sleeps will be back in Australia this february with the behemoth that is Bring Me The Horizonon their rescheduled Australian tour dates, then will heading up north as well as a mini headline tour of their own in Sydney and Brisbane. In November, While She Sleeps announced they will be releasing their brand new album, You Are We, on April 21 in Australia via their brand home UNFD and released the first single "Hurricane".
Made with Carl Bown, who also produced their previous 2015 album Brainwashed, the songs that comprise You Are We are full of as much force, focus and determination as ever. The likes of "Hurricane" and first single "Civil Isolation" continue the band’s trajectory as one of the most inspiring, riotous and important voices in British music today, demonstrating both their continued musical evolution and their incisive social conscience. Yet while these are brutal anthems that paint a vivid picture of a post-Brexit Britain, they stand as both the most universal and most personal songs of the band’s career.
Joining While She Sleeps will be Sydney bruisers Justice For The Damned. With a firm grasp on the concept of 'patience is a virtue' the five-piece have spent the past few years consciously and methodically planning the path, which has lead to two solid EPs, a new record label to call home and a fresh single "Please Don't Let Me Leave". Justice For The Damned has spent the year on the road supporting the likes of Polaris, Void of Vision and Kublai Khan, and start 2017 on the big stage at UNIFY before hitting stages with While She Sleeps.
Melbourne's Belle Haven will also be heading up the Pacific Highway in February. With their 2015 debut album, Everything Ablaze, in the bag and brand new single "Carving Knife" out in the world, Belle Haven have finely honed their live show after touring here and abroad with the likes of Norma Jean, Atreyu, Emarosa and Chiodos. They will be primed to warm the stage in February.
Graves take on the main support role in Sydney, while Stepson will open the night in Brisbane.
