News: MUSEUM MOUTH DEBUTS "RIFF FROM MY HEAD" MUSIC VIDEO VIA CLRVYNT
Wilmington, NC's Museum Mouth is now premiering a music video for "Riff From My Head" via CLRVYNT. The track comes from the band's latest album, Popcorn Fish Guinea Pig, which is out now on Rory Records - Max Bemis of Say Anything's imprint within Equal Vision Records.
Museum Mouth is currently on tour with Young and Heartless and Kississippi. The band is also set to support Against Me! on March 11 in Wilmington, NC. All upcoming tour dates can be found below.
"We shot this in San Diego while on tour with Say Anything and basically just got up early, went to [director] Blake Raynor's studio with all the dumb stuff we had in our van, and started shooting with zero plan," recalls Museum Mouth vocalist/drummer Karl Kuehn. "I think at one point Blake and I were talking about doing a shot for shot remake of Everclear's vid for "Santa Monica"??? That obviously didn't happen, but I'm glad he remembered I love Everclear. Don't know where he got wind that I was obsessed with Draconic subtitles but I'm glad that made it in there too."
Popcorn Fish Guinea Pig is available physically through museummouth.merchnow.com and on tour from the band, and digitally through iTunes, Google Play, Spotify and more. Vinyl for Popcorn Fish Guinea Pig is limited to 1000 including the following variants: red/white haze (limited to 200), black (limited to 300) and transparent pink (limited to 500).The album is also available streaming now via SPIN.

The full album premiere followed the individual releases of "Lacquer" which was noted as "a catchy smasher of a love song" by FADER, "Riff From My Head" which debuted via Brooklyn Vegan, and "Incubus Tattoo" which premiered via Stereogum.
On Popcorn Fish Guinea Pig Kuehn and his bandmates, guitarist Graham High and bassist Kory Urban, explore the overwhelming emotions (ranging from nostalgia to trauma, with a splash of self-realization) that come from a move back to one's hometown after years away, and re-exploring small town life as an adult.
