Interviews: Noise From Nowhere

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the Metal/Metalcore band Noise From Nowhere, from Italy. Check out this band and give them a like on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

«We like the sound of that, Noise From Nowhere. We were looking for an “impact name”. One day it came to our mind and we immediately chose it, we didn’t plan that».

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

«We love to combine metal hard sounds with pop sweetness. Our main characteristic is to create catchy songs, tracks that people could sing everywhere. And then this is the best way we know to create music, it’s natural for us. We are very proud about our sounds».

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

«Sim (voice/guitar) and Marco (voice/drums) are brothers and they started the band. They knew Valeria (bass) and Cristiano (guitar) some time later. And then a nice family was born».

4. Each band member favourite band?

«Three Days Grace for Sim, Nickelback for Marco, Led Zeppelin for Valeria and Thirty Seconds to Mars for Cristiano».

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

«Music and guitar riffs are mainly born from Sim’s ideas or someone’s vocal melody. Marco writes lyrics and he gets inspiration from what music makes him feel. Sometimes we talk about experiences of our everyday lives, sometimes we shift the focus to themes that stimulate people to reflect, issues like the importance of destiny and money in life or the world going sick because of arrogance and egoism. It depends on what the melody gives us».

6. Where was your last gig?

«It was in North Italy a couple of weeks ago. In the next days we’ll massively tour Italy and in the upcoming months we’ll hit Russia for 8 special gigs. Can’t wait to do that, it’s gonna be amazing!».

7. Where would you like to act?

«We would like to act in every situation in which there are a lot of people. We want to bring our music and our live show everywhere in the world and impress people».

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

«It would be great feature with artists like Chad Kroeger (Nickelback), Adam Gontier (Saint Asonia), David Draiman (Disturbed), Johnny Hetherington (Art Of Dying), Benjamin Burnley (Breaking Benjamin), John Cooper (Skillet), Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge), Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters) or Jacoby Shaddix (Papa Roach), for example. One of our targets for the next album is exactly feature with an extablished artist».

9. Whom not?

«No one in particular, we would like to feature with everyone could inspire us».

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

«Each of us has suffered from stage fright at younger ages, it’s normal. It’s about staying focused on what you’re playing and after a couple of minutes you’ll be anxious no more. Anxiety will turn into huge burst of energy».

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

«Most of alternative metal bands: Breaking Benjamin, Nickelback, Three Days Grace, Skillet, Art of Dying, Of Mice & Men and other artists like Alter Bridge, Foo Fighters, Avenged Sevenfold and Bring Me The Horizon».

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

«People often give us portraits or homemade objects realized for us and that’s wonderful. A guy also owns a sticks, guitar picks, t-shirts and setlists collection, exclusive and rare stage material. But in Slovakia/Czech Republic people even asked us towels that we used during the shows. It was bizarre!».

13. What do you think of your fans?

«We have a great connection with our fans thanks to social networks. Today having direct contacts with people is very important. We work everyday to give them the best we can. We love our fans and we thank them so much for their support».

14. What do you think of our site?

«”Breathing The Core” is a very good webzine and we always appreciate people working with passion and love for music. We wish it “good luck” for the future«.

15. Something to add?

«Check our new album “This World So Sick” on Spotify/Amazon and follow us on Facebook, Instagram and on our website noisefromnowhere.com for every upcoming news. We’ll release other singles and videoclips in the next months. Cheers to all the readers and a special thanks to Breathing The Core».
