Interviews: Rosen

In this new occasion we have had the opportunity to interview the  Nu-Metal/Rock  band Rosen from UK. Check out this band and give them a like on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

From Philip K. Dick's novel "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" the book Blade Runner was based on.

2. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

No, but Gumtree is incredibly useful for putting a band together.

3. Each band member favourite band?

Matt Ress: Korn

Kam Ikaze: Faith No More

Frisco: Gojira

Cole Sław: Megadeth

Frhetoric: ¡Mayday!

4. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Mind altering substances, political events, personal life events, and other artists.

5. Where was your last gig?

The Finsbury - one of the few good London bar venues with good sound and stage effects.

6. Where would you like to play?

All over the world, but this year we're starting with the UK and Eastern Europe, with some stops in between.

7. Who would you like to play with?

Besides the bands we are fans of, talented underground artists who are weird like us.

8. Who not?

Nickelback. Also, no underground artists with egos bigger than their CV.

9. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Still nervous every time. Fortunately, history only remembers the winners, so if you make a mistake it will probably be forgotten.

10. What bands have inspired you the most?

Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Kreator, Sepultura, Pantera, Faith No More, Gojira, ¡Mayday!, Korn, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Clawfinger, Rage Against the Machine.

11. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Frisco was asked for a drum stick after a gig. He's still not sure if that was some kind of innuendo.

12. What do you think of your fans?

We think they're the epitome of good taste, and other people should trust their advice on what makes for good music.

13. What do you think of our site?

Very informative! Never heard of such a thing as Nintendocore until now!
