News: THE HYENA KILL Release New Single ‘EXIT MASK’ | Announce New EP 'SPUN' Due 23rd April On APF Records + Support To Arcane Roots On Feb/March UK Tour

Rising Manchester duo THE HYENA KILL kickstart a new chapter today, releasing new single EXIT MASK. The track features on forthcoming EP SPUN due 23rd April on APF Records, which was produced by Andy Hawkins (Hawk Eyes, Black Moth), showcasing a transition towards a more aggressive and full-throttled sound.

“Exit Mask is a twisted tale of love, obsession and suicide. It was the last track to be written for the EP and is our new favourite to play live.

We wanted to make a record that was a brutally honest representation of our music, and us as people. Our debut album ‘Atomised’ was a benchmark for us but for this record we really got into the crafting and feel of the songs”

THE HYENA KILL are also pleased to announce their support to Arcane Roots on their February/March April UK tour.    “It was very last minute but we are stoked to get the chance share a stage with such an incredible British band” - Steven Dobb   The duo will then head to Spain in April for a handful of shows, before embarking on a short UK headline run. THE HYENA KILL will also be heading to the hallowed grounds of Castle Donington this summer for Download Festival. Full live dates are at the bottom of this press release.   THE HYENA KILL formed after guitarist and vocalist Steven Dobb met drummer Lorna Blundell at a house party in 2012, and the two instantly clicked over a mutual love of bands such as Tool and Deftones, subsequently arranging a jamming session a few days later.  2016 saw the release of debut album Atomised, an album that marks out the Manchester duo as one of the most vital and uncompromising acts to emerge from the UK’s underground rock community in years. Widespread praise for the release fuelled a hefty touring schedule, highlights including 2000 Trees, support to New Model Army, Max and Igor Cavalera, The Virginmarys and Brutus.  Watch this space for further news on THE HYENA KILL.
