News: YOUTH KILLED IT ASK THEMSELVES "WHERE DID I GO WRONG?" IN BRAND NEW SINGLE
British alternative rockers Youth Killed It are asking themselves at what point did they begin settling for the ordinary, rather than pushing for more, in brand new single "Where Did I Go Wrong?" out now via Rude Records. The new track by the English band, available for streaming and purchase at this link, underlines the dancey and ironic alt rock vibe that they had already showcased in previous full-length "Modern Bollotics", and more recently in their single "Islands".
The new song is a commentary on what singer Jack Murphy calls 'false-perfect li(f)e', the snapshots of other people's seemingly impeccable lives and how they make us question what we're getting wrong in our own lives. Murphy says “We are the generation of ‘big dreams’ and believe we can be anything we want, when in actual fact, reality hits us harder when we take the first big steps out in the real world”.
