Interviews: Venatici

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the  Alternative Rock/Post-Hardcore band Venatici from UK. Check out the interview and this band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

It's from a constellation called Canes Venatici, which means The Hunting Dogs.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

It's got a bit of everything we want to play in it - having a diverse sound means we can try a lot more than just being a standard rock band.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Zak met George in 2015 and over the last 3 years we've assembled the band, meeting everyone through friends of friends

4. Each band member favourite band?

Zak - My Chemical Romance

Danny - Avenged Sevenfold

Alex - A Day To Remember

Nick - Foo Fighters

George - Linkin Park

Andy - Blink 182

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Nothing in particular, just anything that's really on our minds at the time. Musically it can be really cathartic.

6. Where was your last gig?

Aatma in Manchester

7. Where would you like to act?

Download Festival or Old Trafford (Football not Cricket)

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

While She Sleeps, Hands Like Houses or A Day To Remember

9. Whom not?

No one really comes to mind

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Sometimes - usually a few shots of Fireball can help!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Probably Bring Me The Horizon

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

We've not had any weird requests yet

13. What do you think of your fans?

Some of them are crazy - we've already got a few people with our logo tattooed!

It's great!
