Behind The Artworks: Anachronaeon - Everyday Chronicles (2019)

We never thought of anyone else than Smerdulak for the album illustration. He has done all our previous ones, so we figured it’d be nice to keep the theme, etc. He also never disappoints, and I really like that he has gone from photo manipulation early in his career to actually incorporate his painting skill, which is really great. I sent him a rough sketch reminding him of matching into which

mouth we are all wandering in, like feeding the matching, as a metaphor for society, which really means that ”Cog” probably is the title track of the album.
