Dillon: ““Stockholm” came about almost with a sense of catharsis lyrically for me. It’s more or less telling someone that I don’t speak to anymore that even after everything that we put one another through that I’d still be there if they gave me the word. You can hear in parts of the song where it’s very apparently self-aware that this isn’t exactly the best mindset to have as far as letting someone have too much control over you as a person emotionally, but that doesn’t stop the inevitable cycle that sparked the song’s creation in the first place. This was the first song I’d heard without vocals from Louder Than Words and it seemed like a really good piece to make for an introduction and wasn’t too far out of the metal realm that I’ve boxed myself inside of.”
