Behind The Artworks: Mountain Dust - Seven Storms (2019)

While we were struggling to agree on the right style of artwork for Seven Storms, our friend Marigold Santos was brought up. Her work is very beautiful and has a unique style to it, and the artwork chosen for this cover was not done for the album but rather it was a piece she had done in 2017 called "until I stretch my arms out and die" (acrylic and pigment on canvas). Not only was she kind enough to let us use it for the album but it matched the theme of the album far better than anything we had previously come up with. Even the title of the piece makes sense (on our end at least) with the inspiration behind the lyrics which are all tied together in a desert landscape.
