Interviews: Kaosis
In this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Metal/Industrial Metal band Kaosis from New Zealand. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.
1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
Kaosis is a word created to reflect the visceral presence of the band. Conceptually, Kaosis is a play on the idea of existence being in a constant state of uncontrollable chaos. We needed to create a word, not use something people had heard or seen before. The name like the band is innovative and unique.
2. Why did you want to play this genre?
Kaosis is written to provide a backbone and platform for live performance. Metal, dubstep, dnb, and horrorcore are all very aggressive, powerful genres to witness live and combined they have become the perfect vessel for our live show.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
We have all known each other for a long, long time. Some for centuries.
4. Each band member favorite band?

Monshi: Die Antwoord

VhiisiioN: Pantera

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
Crowd response. We write music for the live audience.

7. Where would you like to act?
Festivals are where we love to play most. Next Festival is DEAD OF WINTER on July 14th in Brisbane Australia.

Any of our Label Mates, Logic Defies Logic, Diefekt or Loki Lonestar.
9. Whom not?
Anything that is boring, contrived or overhyped.
10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?
No, we are like preachers at the sermon on stage, this is our calling. For beginners remember how much work it has taken to get to where you are, all those countless hours or rehearsal, training and writing to hone your art; for a brief moment, you get to share it with someone. Put all your energy into making it an experience that will touch them and that they will remember.
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
Sex Pistols; Wu-Tang Clan; Insane Clown Posse and Tech N9ne.
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
To sign a clump of hair they ripped out at a show.
13. What do you think of your fans?
We are our fans and our fans are us. We are the vehicle to their release.
14. What do you think of our site?
Amazing. A unique and visionary example of contemporary media.
15. Something add?
Full Fucking Savage.
