Behind The Artworks: PINTO GRAHAM - Dos (2019)

Howdy! This is Ant of Pinto Graham and this is a track by track breakdown of our 2^nd album, DOS. In general, lyrics are the last thing to be written for any of our songs. Usually, we begin with a feel which is laid down by Brian on drums. Then the music comes together over time. Finally, I evaluate the emotional tangibility of the tune and pick a subject to match. I keep a running list of phrases and words in the notes app on my iPhone and pick and choose until something fits. On rare occasions, a song will convey its subject matter all on its own. The Creeper from UNO is a prime example of that special circumstance.
