Interviews: Don’t Believe In Ghosts

In this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the  Alternative Rock band Don’t Believe In Ghosts from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

I’m not sure anything is planned haha we just basically decide our best option from what we have in our head… this was the best option! It’s about not giving energy to the ghosts of your past.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Because all the other ones were taken.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Well, Alex the bass player and myself played in a band together before,.. and dan the guitarist was in a band we did some shows with… ken we found on the internet, one of those lucky internet connections for us!

4. Each band member favorite band?

Our musical taste is all over the place… I don’t know that any of us have a favorite band at this point. Certainly many many artists we love!

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Basically, everything in life is working against you writing songs… until you listen to it and you learn it’s all been inspiring you to create all along.

6. Where was your last gig?

Bowery Ballroom in NYC!

7. Where would you like to act?

We’d all love to play MSG or the usual… but wouldn’t you rather see us at the Roman Colisuem?

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We’re always down to collaborate… It’s a bit more exciting when it’s a new perspective and perhaps someone brand new.

9. Whom not?

We’d prefer not to collaborate with anyone negative haha

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

That feeling is everything… so yeah we all get nervous from time to time but when it’s what you do and you have something to say you rise at that moment and do it.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

I try and find something inspiring all the time… I listen to everything I can and look for the gold in it

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

To cut off a piece of my Hair haha

13. What do you think of your fans?

I think anyone who gives us even an ounce of energy… watches one video… is amazing. that’s just so incredible they would spend any seconds of their life on us.

14. What do you think of our site?

Website? I think websites are dated yet social media is busy… lets create something new.
