Interviews: Rotten Hate
In this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Death Metal band Rotten Hate from Chile. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.
1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
Hi. The idea is to express through the name a hatred and a repudiation towards things that do not seem right to us in this society. Express something foul so that people never forget our name. And the idea was born naturally.
2. Why did you want to play this genre?
We love old school Death Metal ... that force within simplicity we are passionate about. With guitars in low tones to give heaviness and the distorted bass to give like that kind of thick and rough snoring to the strings.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
Yes, We are comrades in a Doom Death Metal band called THE BLACK HARVEST ... and for many years we have known each other for having participated in other bands and being in festivals.
4. Each band member favorite band?
Matt: Slayer , Morbid Angel , Immolation.
Lino: Root, Dissection.
Manu: Candlemass, Darkthrone, Black Sabbath
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
The shamelessness of the churches, the robbery of politicians, the idiocy of the masses. Those three elements make us want to shout "Hey !!!! ... wake up ... something is wrong here !!!! "
6. Where was your last gig?
It was in the city of Puerto Montt "Exhumation of Fetuses II", together with Feretro, Necrobastard, Preversion Flames, Rotten Malefice, and Soul's Pyre. A brutal night with frontline bands.
7. Where would you like to act?
Our quickest claims are to have presentations in Argentina, Brazil, and Peru. But in the long term participate in festivals in Europe and U.S.A. of pure extreme music.
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
Venom, Celtic Frost, Obituary, Asphyx, Pestilence, Absu, Root, Dismember, Hypocrisy
9. Whom not?
A.N.I.M.A.L., Falsegod, Thornafire, Ratzinger, Children of Bodom, Hategrama.
10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?
I do not remember having stage fright ... always sure of what is going to be done ... The best thing is to drink a glass of whiskey with a cigar and think that your music will be shared with friends of a lifetime Doing your best.
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
Motorhead, Venom, Slayer, Metallica (K.E.A.era), G.B.H. , The Exploited.
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
Woa .. what an interesting question ... Well with this band nothing "strange" has happened at the moment. But if people in the public offer you drugs in quantities to be in a plant state.
13. What do you think of your fans?
Honest people with their criticisms and for the same reason we do it for them to enjoy.
14. What do you think of our site?
It has a good menu of genres and sub-genres which makes it very interesting and complete. Besides, those good bands appear.
15. Something add?
A big hug to all Breathing the Core readers and greetings to our fans.
