Behind The Artworks: Blackhearth - Blackhearth (2019)

The cover is based on a real house located just outside of our hometown, Durango. It is a small palace that was abandoned many years ago, so now the house is in ruins: broken roof and windows, crumbling walls that are nothing more than the home for dust and weeds. We have heard many stories about the house since we were kids, different stories but the same end: the death of a human being hanged at the house’s tower roof. Somehow, elderly people used to use these stories to scare children but in our case it had the opposite effect, it increased our interest on it. From this interest, the song called “Blackhearth” was born and became a key piece of the album.
