1. What can you say about this new EP/CD?
Our new record "I Decide" is our debut full length we released independently. It's a testament to our growth and development as a band over the last few years. This record is just a taste of whats to come...we're constantly writing, growing and trying new things. This was all about finding ourselves and developing our sound. Its done really well so far being one of the top selling albums on Bandcamp.com within our genre. I guess people like it. Definitely has something for everyone.
2. What is the meaning of the EP/CD name?
"I Decide" is really about taking control of who you are and living your life the way you want.
3. Which one is the composer of the CD/EP?
Patrick wrote and structured a lot of the current record but everyone fully contributes in the writing process. Pat generated the bare bone rhythm parts and left it open for Zach and Roahn to add bass and leads. Matt tied it all in with the drums then for lyrical content Jake and Zach do the majority of writing but we all worked together to make this record happen.
4. If you have to pick one song, which one would you pick?
That's a tough one... "Inherit" is definitely a fan/band favorite and it's a perfect example of our new sound but we'd have to say "December" makes it a two way tie. December really took a lot to put together. It's slow and its sad, something we have never tried before.
5. Is there a special message in this EP/CD?If there is what it is?
As a whole this record is all about taking control of your life. Cutting loose anyone or anything that is holding you back....it's just a little reminder how precious life is and we're in control in how we chose to experience it.
6. Are there some lyrics that you´d love to share?
December:
I can't breath i'm gasping

Every winter, another friend laid to rest
Every winter the snow will bury the dead
Is there a Spring that will melt the fear of losing another I hold dear?

To lose and lose again is to understand how brutal death, how precious life
How much loss will I endure before my time

7. Which inspirations haven been important for this album?
Like musically or friends, family, someone you'd love to thanks specially? For the record its a reflection of our growth over the last couple years, member changes, death, loss and rising above it all. In the end we're 5 people living very different lives who come together to do what we love. We'd really like to thank Adam Cichocki at Timber Studios for being such an amazing producer and friend as well as Jimmy Dalessio of Demon Artwork for designing our album art.
