Interviews: Dies In The Sky

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Metal/Hardcore band Dies In The Sky from Mexico. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

About the name of our band, we pretend to explain the mean that the persons died in the air, for example in the War Plane, explosions, Many important persons that died in the Sky.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Since we studied the High School ( Gutierrez), Aldo (Guitar Player) and Me (Richi) Drummer, we had many metal Influences, for example, Pantera, Carcass, Metallica , Slayer and many more bands like these. After that, some years ago we have a evolution musical, and we started to make our first Riffs and Fills, and in the moment to Mix both, we begin our music, step by step, we consider that like a band you need to have the correct evolution through of the years.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Since the High School, except the Vocalist, because he joined us in March of this Year.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Richi (Drummer) / Favorite Band: Chelsea Grin Aldo (Guitar Leader) / Favorite band: Emmure Dani (Guitar Harmonic) / Favorite band: Attila Beto (Bass) / Favorite Band: Northlane Edgar (Vocals) / Favorite Band: Despised Icon

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

Wars, Love, Daily Lives.

6. Where was your last gig? 

Guerrillero Fest, W/ Billy the Kid, From Costa Rica.

7. Where would you like to act? 

USA, Europe, Canada, Japan, in all the world, we want our music sound in all the parts.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Our dream is to have a Tour with Attila , Emmure or Chelsea Grind.

9. Whom not?

In fact, we love play our music, in any place, with all the bands, we think that the brotherhood between bands its one of the best way to grow up like band, day by day.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Yes, I think that each band have an experience like this, in the personal, sometimes I have a hard training, and I have in my mind, play the drums the better way, and the nerves betray me and make some mistakes.

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

Emmure, Despised Icon, Chelsea Grin, Here comes the Kraken, Attila, Veil of Maya.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

At this moment, we don’t have some weirdest event, hahaha (Laughs)

13. What do you think of your fans?

We think that all the bands existed for the support of the Fans, we think that the Fans is the most important in the development of the Bands, Thanks Fans for support us and be part of our Family always, we are working very hard in our new music, made for the Fans.

14. What do you think of our site?

We are very proud to be part of the Breathing the Core, we think that this kind of page is Amazing, because sometimes it's very difficult to have this kind of opportunities to be part of the page from the other Countries. We really appreciate the opportunity to be part of your page, we hope someday to have a Tour in the USA , and have a personal talk, we know that this Country has the best shows around the world. !!!We have the American Metal Dream!!!
