1. Why did you want to play this genre?
Jenny Teator: It’s just whatever came from the heart. Its really a blend of genres into one unique sound. Its hard to pinpoint ONE genre for me and I love that.
2. The team you record with did you know each other before the band was formed?
Jenny Teator: Nope! I met them through a mutual friend of theirs.
3. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
Jenny Teator: I think that's a mix of who AND what. Who inspires me? Grace Potter, Susan Tedeschi, Dorothy, Elle King, The Black Keys, the list can go on. What inspires me to write songs? People. Feelings. Experiences. Everything around me has the possibility to inspire me, it happens when my heart wants to speak.
4. Where was your last gig?
Jenny Teator: Snitch, in Printer’s Alley in Nashville, TN.
5. Where would you like to act (perform)?
Jenny Teator: I’d love to play at The Ryman haha that's a dream of mine. Other venues I haven’t played yet but would like to would be Mercy Lounge, The Listening Room Cafe and 3rd and Lindsley.
6. Whom would you like to feature with?
Jenny Teator: Blackberry smoke
7. Ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?
Jenny Teator: Absolutely. At the very beginning I was terrified but my biggest tip is to just GO out there and do it. You can’t let fear win, and you will only learn by doing. Lean into your fears, its amazing what happens from there. (Hint: GROWTH).
8. What bands have inspired you the most?
Jenny Teator: Grace Potter and Tedeschi Trucks Band.
9. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
Jenny Teator: Hmm, nothing that comes to mind yet. Definitely have had inappropriate things fans have asked for though, PLENTY of those, ugh.
10. What do you think of your fans?
Jenny Teator: Incredibly supportive and loyal. I’ve had people who have stuck with me from the START and they are loving every bit of my journey as I am. It’s really cool to see those people still root for you like that. Most
