Interviews: Ænly

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Metal band, Ænly, from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

It was derived from “only” and the æ was inspired by tool. But the premise of the name is basically saying that only you can get yourself out of situations. 

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Honestly, we consider ourselves just metal, and we’ve all grown up listening to it and have all gotten inspired by it in some way or other.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Art, Manny, and Riggs were in a band together along side Ænly

4. Each band member favorite band?

We all vary and have too many to list!

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs? 

Honestly, just life!

6. Where was your last gig?

We’ve finally gotten the last piece of our puzzle (Conner-drums), so we’ll update you on that once we start playing gigs!

7. Where would you like to act?

Anywhere and everywhere!

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Anybody that has inspired us.

9. Whom not?

There’s no room for negativity, so even if they’re not uplifting people, we’d still have them come along and hopefully show a positive way for them.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Most definitely. And to get over that is to just play and let your craft speak!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Way too many to list honestly!

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Nothing weird yet! Been all good!

13. What do you think of your fans?

We think that they’re awesome and absolutely love them for believing in us! 14. What do you think of our site? We think its pretty awesome!!
