Interviews: Bloodhunter

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the  Melodic Death Metal band, Bloodhunter, from Spain. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Dani Arcos: I wanted to mix something with blood as the center topic of the band. Then Diva Satanica suggested the Hunter part and I thought it was cool. 

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Dani Arcos: At the beginning my plans were different. I wanted to play something mixing vocals like Ripper Owens with growls. Metal but not extreme. As you may know, music evolves and we evolve with it, and we ended up playing something more extreme.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Dani Arcos: I already knew Diva Satanica. I met Dani Luces in my hometown when I was looking for a bass player, and we all already knew G. Starless so we asked him to join the band.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Dani Arcos: I would say Judas Priest.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Dani Arcos: I do not believe in inspiration. The more you work on the songs, the better they end up being.

6. Where was your last gig?

Dani Arcos: It was in Tenerife (Spain) at Sala Aguere de La Laguna.

7. Where would you like to act?

Dani Arcos: I dont think it is necessary to answer this question :)

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Dani Arcos: We have already supported many many bands. You can learn something from everybody.

9. Whom not?

Dani Arcos: ...

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Dani Arcos: We do not suffer that. We are always excited to start and give our best. My tip would be to relax, everybody makes mistakes when playing live. Just enjoy and don't worry.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Dani Arcos: Probably classic bands like Judas Priest, Death, Ozzy Osbourne... 

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Dani Arcos: I have never had a weird question. Usually is related to the gear used or how to play something.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Dani Arcos: They are very supportive with the band!

14. What do you think of our site?

Dani Arcos: We need more sites like yours for sharing news from bands, so we can discover many we didnt know!
