Interviews: DEVIL IN THE MIST

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the  Metal band, DEVIL IN THE MIST, from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Hi, this is Gia answering the questions for the band. It actually came from the name of a flower, My singer Katy Reign, did research on it.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Alternative Metal, I think through the yrs of listening to different styles, it just sort of fallen into it. But we also have other styles we have yet to release yet

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

I and my singer Katy have known each for yrs, and we did another band back in 2010 to 2012, some of those songs and material have gone into this band. I didn't Know Mark or Paul, and Katy didn't either, I met Paul through my engineer, and Mark I met through another Guitarist

4. Each band member favorite band?

Well for me Gia, There are many, I can't really say who my favorite is, but many I like. Katy likes a lot of bands from the 90s, Mark, likes a lot of 70s and 80s music, Paul same as Mark, similar to me, they like a lot of different bands and stye

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

With me, a lot of times the songs just come to me, sometimes influenced by how I feel that day or whats going on. Katy usually writes with things that have happened in her life or something she comes up, a scenario

6. Where was your last gig?

Feb 28th, 2020 due to the COVID Pandemic, no shows, we're going to do some virtual ones, looking at Oct this year possibly

7. Where would you like to act?

Act you must mean playing a show, I always wanted to play the big festival the isle of wright, forget the name lol

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Oh, Metallica, Alterbridge, Iron Maiden, Tool, My Chemical Romance, Disturbed, Breaking Benjaham

9. Whom not?

Ah lol, Bands and Artists that not nice lol

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

When I first started playing, oh ya terrified, I think Katy sometimes gets, i think everyone does to a certain extent, but it wears out quick, once you're into the set. For beginners, yes, just take every show, big ones small ones, as band practice, and that will help big time.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Tons, I can name so many, Van Halen, Led Zepplin, Queen, The Beatles, Elvis, Metallica, Ozzy, DIO, Aerosmith, The Eagles, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Bee Gees, Alterbridge, Tool,

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Oh lol, a lot I can t put it in writing in this interview lol, lets just say there pretty graphic lol

13. What do you think of your fans?

I think they're really great, very supportive, but some are more interested in looks and are pervs lol, I just wish fans would support more as far buying CDs, and Merch

14. What do you think of our site?

I think its great, very pro, and I thank you for having us on and the interview.
