On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Hard Rock band, The Lonely Ones, from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.
1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
It was definitely planned. Being in a touring rock band it’s hard to keep somebody at home. Hence the lonely ones.
2. Why did you want to play this genre?
I grew up watching my dad play Bluegrass And instantly knew I would never be that good. So I started playing bar chords with distortion. And I was correct it was much easier.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
Yes, we are all in a band called Bobaflex together before this band started.
4. Each band member's favorite band?
If I had to pick one it would be Pink Floyd. Thomas would be Tool. Jimmy’s is definitely the Rolling Stones. Jake is younger and into bands like Bring Me the Horizon, I’m dance Gavin dance.
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
I’m inspired by real-life situations. The truth will set you free.
6. Where was your last gig?
Our last gig was louder than life after the party. We immediately went into the studio after that and then the coronavirus hit. We haven’t played a gig since.
7. Where would you like to act?
I’m not sure what that means. Where would I like to play or is this about movies? I’ll answer both for shits and giggles. Europe is where we need to be. Rock is alive and well over there and I want to be right in the middle of it. If you’re asking about acting and obviously Quinten Tarantino is the only answer. LOL!
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
To be honest I go on tour with anybody. I don’t hate on bands. If you’ve gained some form of a success and obviously you’re serious about your craft and I respect that. If you’re talking about acting and Brad Pitt of course.
9. Whom not?
Once again I don’t hate on bands I’d tour with anybody as long as it made musical sense. If You’re talking about actors also Brad Pitt because he would take away from my boyish good looks.
10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?
I suffer from terrible stage fright. I almost threw up before every show. And once I start gagging Tommy starts gagging and then we start laughing. As far as tips for beginners one word.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?
Pink Floyd, Tool, Guns n Roses
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
I guy asked if I would leave the venue with and go to his house to meet his family. It was an hour drive and we had just finished the gig. It was midnight and I’d never met him before. He’s was cool when I declined. I just found it a bit pushy. I don’t think he was gonna kill me, but you never know.
13. What do you think of your fans?
Our fans are the best. They are the reason we get to not have jobs and act important. They let us continue making music. We always come out after every gig and hang out with the fans until the venue throws us dull out. We be absolutely nothing without them.

15. Something you'd like to add?
What until you hear our cover song for this album. It was very ambitious. In these dark times we could all use a hero. I’ll give you a hint. He’s for every one of us!!!
