Behind The Artworks: IN CHASMS DEEP - The Wind And Her Lament (2020)

This is the 2nd cover of mine that was created by the infinitely talented Samuel Nelson (find him at Stigma: The Art of Samuel Nelson on facebook). I think this cover represents, almost perfectly, my vision for the wordless dream turned nightmare of A Suicide in Paradise. Its a beautiful landscape at first glance, but upon closer inspection, there is something sinister about the dark shape that appears to be kneeling in what could be fog or water. I like art that is vague and abstract, a piece that could mean something completely different depending on who you ask, and I think this cover captures that very well.
