1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
The name of the band is the response from art to the violent content that we lived in Colombia in
the past, the name can be translated as "life in death", so the name is premeditated but also
provided by the environment.
2. Why did you want to play this genre?
The truth is that our style has been refined over the years, at the beginning we wanted to play
extreme metal music but we didn't know how make this something really brutal and dark, the
time has passed and playing extreme metal has become a very comfortable place for us, this music
aesthetic identifies us a lot and we want to continue doing blackened death metal music.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
Maybe we had seen each other occasionally sharing a bottle of wine in the Carmen de Viboral´s
park with other friends, the interest in playing metal music finally allowed us consolidate the band
together.
4. Each band member favourite band?
I think that the drummer's favorite band is Immortal, I don't have a single band in particular, I like
different bands like to Morbid Angel, Vader, inmolation, Dissection, Emperor, Behemoth,
Hypocrisy, Dark Funeral, Deicide, Hate, Sacramentum and many others.
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
I have a fixation with the death topic since I was a teenager, creating for death inspires me and
keeps me alive.
6. Where was your last gig?
Our last concert was in Medellín / Colombia one month before the confinement for the pandemic,
it was a ritual show called EXÁNIMA RITUAL FEST.
7. Where would you like to act?
I hope to playing in the future a big world festivals like to Inferno Metal Fest, Hell Fest, 70000 Tons
of Metal, Graspop Metal Meeting, Wacken Open Air, Obscene Extreme Fest, Brutal Assault,
México Metal Fest, Rock al Parque, Copen Hell, Resurrection Fest.
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
With many of the great bands that I like it and that I mentioned in question number four.
9. Whom not?
Megadeth.
10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?
At the beginning I think that all artists suffer, personally in the past I was stressed a lot the day
before the show, taking care of the wind excessively and studying in my mind all music of concert,
with experience you manage to put in favor that injection of adrenaline that offers to face the
public playing metal.
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
Bathory and Quorthon was a tireless composer who died young but leaving a vast work difficult to
overcome.
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
Someone asked us permission to use our music at a metalheads funeral.
13. What do you think of your fans?
The fans are the most important thing that a band has, they are the strength and the motivational
motor to continue through time and despite difficulties.
14. What do you think of our site?
His site is an excellent space for all independent metal artists, you publish content of interest with
very good quality, long life Breathing The Core Owner!
