Interviews: Wanted Noise

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Punk band, Wanted Noise, from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name?

From a friend who lived at the house that we first jammed at. I told her that my new Noise Supressor pedal would cut out all the unwanted noise - I meant the extra noisy feedback from my amp. But then she said “No you guys are wanted noise!”

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Because punk is free to play anything you want, at any level of experience. And it’s super fun.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

No

Suri - Petmedz

Caleb - Black Sabbath

Taylor - Led Zeppelin

Jin - Dinosaur Jr.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Life

6. Where was your last gig?

Waterfront Park

8. Whom would you like to tour with and why?

Petmedz and Lagwagon. Petmedz are my fav band and best friends, and we love Lagwagon. Also the Petmedz and I went to the same high school as some of Lagwagon in Goleta - DP High babaayyy!

9. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Play on stage as much as you can. Then you learn how to handle the butterflies when you feel them! Relax and remember: it’s all a super short moment, and nothing really matters anyways, so just have fun cuz it’s all good.

11. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked of you?

Idk nothing really since nobody really knows us yet! If there’s any fans out there, come on out of the woodwork and ask us weird shit!!!

12. What do you think of your fans?

We’re trying to find them!

13. Anything else you want to add?

We are releasing our first full length album probly next year. Gonna be releasing singles, lyric videos, and music videos on the way! It’s going down on our YouTube channel: “Wanted Noise” Also stoked to get this interview, cheers!
