Behind The Artworks: Marcelyn, The Band - Monstrous Existence (2020)

Travis: The artwork is by Lila Planavsky. It's title is "Flight from Domesticity." She went to college with my wife, and they used to exchange prints. That artwork has been hanging in my dining room for years. When we started talking about artwork for the album, I looked at it and thought it fit with the title perfectly. I sent it to Marce and Mike and that was it. Thanks, Lila! Mike: I find the image tragic. Cow's got wings but is tethered to the ground. What a monstrous existence.
