Interviews: ALL WASTED

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Metal band, ALL WASTED from Sweden. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

It came out like this considering everything we do as musicians is a waste of time, more or less ... Also, it’s nice to get wasted every now and then. So, it ́s a win, win.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Thins is a genre that has been on our minds for several years. When we talked about starting a new project, Death ́n ́ Roll was pitched right away.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

We did. We have played with each other in one way or another before. Fun fact: Eric and Hcan used to play together in the band Agaze. Just weeks before the bands first tour the bass player quit the band and we had to call in a stand in. That guy was Jimmy. For the second tour the guitar guy quit the band and we had to call in a stand in once again. That guy was Emil ... When the band eventually split up, we just figured we could start a new band with Jimmy and Emil. Later, Patrik joined.

4. Each band member favorite band?

You can’t just have ONE favorite band ... Can you? Asking us about a favorite band is like asking a dog to choose only one place to take a piss ... It ́s just not gonna happen.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Life in general(?) ...

6. Where was your last gig?

Since we announced the band during “Covid” we have never had the pleasure to play live yet. But we can’t wait to get out there.

7. Where would you like to act?

Wherever to be honest. But Europe in general would be convenient. We are kind of lazy so the closer the better, ha-ha.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We think we would be a good match to any band that play energetic rock/metal/death. We want to give the fans the feeling of being hit by a train. Any band that wants to provide the same feeling, give us a call. It helps if they can draw a couple of thousand people to the shows as well.

9. Whom not?

Pay us enough and we don’t care.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Some of us have (no names mentioned). Drink more alcohol usually do the tricks.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

We have a mishmash of bands inspiring us. Genres such as punk, rock, metal, death and black, all come to play. No one mentioned, no one forgot ...

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Since All Wasted is a fairly new band we have been spared from weirdos so far. Ask us again once the world opens, and we have a couple of shows under our belt. The weirdest things often happens on tour.

13. What do you think of your fans?

We already have some amazing fans! In this short amount of time and getting this positive feedback is quite amazing. We just actually picked up a fan package containing five custom All Wasted cups.

14. What do you think of our site?

Seems legit. A lot of underground music. Love the idea of all the genres and sub-genres. Now you can add Death ́n ́ Roll to your catalogue.
